Within the scope of repowering, existing plants are often adapted to other substrate compositions with higher dry substance contents. In this process, Giantmix FR and Giantmix FT agitators can be converted from 400 rpm to 275 rpm. This adaptation of the agitator technology significantly improves efficiency and flexibility. However, small tank openings do not allow larger propellers and require a screwable propeller version.
When changing propellers, plant operators often face the problem that the larger blades no longer fit through the existing container opening.
