Our central mixer Z-MIX was installed in this tank (3.5 m × 5.5 m × 9.55 m).
At this stage of the process, the Z-MIX ensures that gases dissolved in the sludge-water mixture, such as CO₂, are reliably removed before settling in the secondary clarifier.
Why this is important: Without this process, gas bubbles can form, causing the sludge to float – a risk to process stability.
