Helge Kopczak has been directing the sales department at the Germany based stirring technology specialist since 01 May. The 50-year-old succeeds long-time sales director Ralf Thiemann, who will retire after a transitional period.With Helge Kopczak, the Sulzberg-based mixing technology manufacturer has gained an industry expert and well-connected sales specialist with over 20 years of professional experience. The graduate engineer will use his profound market and industry knowledge to expand existing markets and enter new ones.
Kopczak comes from a Southern German mechanical engineering company, where he held a leading position for many years, managing and strategically developing a business unit. In addition, he was responsible for the US sales of the Detroit-based subsidiary as second managing director for several years.
He was born in Oberstdorf/Germany, is married and has two children.
Helge Kopczak succeeds the former SUMA sales director Ralf Thiemann.
Thiemann, who has decisively promoted the company's internationalization during his many years of service, will continue to support his successor for some time during the transition phase.
