This biogas plant is the first in Poland designed for the continuous fermentation of selectively collected biowaste.
The core of the project is the expansion of the existing regional waste treatment plant.
The energy generated supplies 300,000 residents in 22 local towns and municipalities. In addition, heat and valuable fertiliser for agriculture are produced.
SUMA was able to support this successful project for a sustainable circular economy with agitation technology. OPTIMIX submersible mixers were installed in combination with our MGD (mast gastight wall lead through).
