pH value

The pH value (short for potential of hydrogen) is a measure of the acidic or basic character of an aqueous solution. It is an important indicator of the substrate and should be known when choosing the right agitator.

If the pH value is significantly lower than the permissible pH value of the agitator, corrosion damage such as pitting can occur on the agitator blade and other agitator components.
