The gas-tight ceiling lead-through GDD is a product developed by SUMA and optimised in terms of serviceability for biogas containers with a concrete ceiling, large lagoons with a concrete bridge and other special containers.

Adjustment options:

Great importance was attached to the smooth adjustment of the horizontal stirring direction.

High gas tightness:

A new innovative sealing bushing for the cable gland has been developed for almost 100% gas-tightness, which is filled with special grease on site. The gas-tightness of the service box was also important in the development.

Easy maintenance:

The GDD service box makes it easier to maintain the submersible motor agitators without shutting down the plant.

A particular highlight is the optionally available maintenance hatch, which closes automatically when the agitator is raised. This folding mechanism greatly reduces gas loss during servicing and considerably simplifies assembly work. The maintenance unit can also be adapted to the openings in the container ceiling.

Long service life:

The GDD is made entirely of corrosion-resistant ss316 in the area that comes into contact with gas and is suitable for 100 / 120 / 150 mm square tube masts.

In addition to the built-in sight glass, a height indicator is supplied to precisely determine the agitator height in the container.
