Paper and Residual materials, waste and co-formulants from the food industry, generated during the production of edible oils, such as palm and olive oil, can be used for further processing. Press residues from olives, citrus and other fruits and vegetables are also suitable for further processing, as well as food and slaughterhouse waste. Residues from milk production can also be utilized, for example to generate energy. Moreover, mash from beer brewing is used for further processing.
